Removal of Wisdom….Teeth

March 22, 2006

Today I have had my wisdom teeth removed all 4 of them.  Now I can’t really talk or do much that is useful so it’s a few days being a lazy bum while my jaw heels.  The operation itself is short relatively pain free.  It’s the noise that is freaky; all that cracking and crunching and constantly thinking this should really hurt.  It does’nt really at all.  However as I have been told “wait until tomorrow”

Bicycle Rage

March 21, 2006

Fraser on Rainbow RageLast weekend, i took part int the Rainbow Rage a 106 km bike ride from St Arnaud to Hanmer Springs. This is the second time I have taken part and I still have 1 question unanswered, why do I do it. After finishing this year I felt pretty much the same way as I did last year : I’m not doing again, but my mind is slowly changing and doing again would be “fun”. More Information can be had at www.rainbowrage.co.nz

Why Listening Helps

March 16, 2006

My job involves dealing with people from walks of life. Some of them are good listeners and others are not. This post is mainly about the later. After having sorted out emailing issues fo a customer for the second time I recieve yet anothe call that the machine is crashing.

This is where the listening bit comes in. Attempting to send 215MB email atttachments will cause your computer to have a hernia. The said person has been told twice and most likely will be told again tomorrow and be charged for the privilege. muhahahaha (maniacal laughter)
